Why does the screw rod have grinding cracks after intermediate frequency quenching?

At present, large screw usually use medium frequency induction hardening. In production, it often happens that the hardened (tempered) screw is screwed into the thread and checked by magnetic inspection. The axial direction is often found to appear on the arc of the thread raceway. In the process of thread grinding, the naked eye can even find cracks or mesh cracks, resulting in the screw being scrapped. This not only causes direct economic losses to the enterprise, but also brings greater pressure to the production of the enterprise due to various factors that cause the problem.

Talking about the difference between local bending and global bending of the screw

Determine the bending position of the screw rod, whether it is local bending or overall bending, or a small amount of bending or a large amount of bending, and then you can decide whether to use manual straightening or use a press to straighten it. The use of a machine tool for providing an auxiliary support surface is essentially not necessary when the correction is carried out, since in practice the correction effect cannot be achieved in most cases when the lathe is used, mainly because the machine tool is being corrected. The basic method is flame or impact, which will affect the lead screw, mainly because this method will cause more severe centrifugal force when rotating.

The role of the positioning pin

The function of the positioning pin is to limit the degree of freedom of movement of the object. This degree of freedom means that the object must have six degrees of freedom in space, namely linear motion in the X,Y and Z axes and motion around X,Y,Z rotation. It has no fixed effect and can be deleted after installation. Then, in a mold composed of two or more parts, pins are widely used in the mold, including stamping molds, injection molds, etc. In addition, stamping dies and injection dies have very high precision requirements. It is not enough to fix the template with bolts, so only pins can be used to achieve the purpose of positioning

Structural classification of stainless steel shaft

Stainless steel shaft is widely used in engineering machinery, automobiles, motorcycles, packaging machinery, forklifts, etc. They are often used in harsh environments or in outdoor installations. Steel has better resistance to chemical corrosion and electrochemical corrosion, second only to titanium alloys. Heat resistance, high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, and even ultra-low temperature resistance. It has high strength and hardness.

The screw: how to prevent screw deformation after heat treatment

The screw is characterized by high machining accuracy and strict deformation requirements. Due to the large number of machining procedures, the quality and deformation of heat treatment are very important. In production, it is found that the workpiece will be severely deformed after carburizing and quenching, and it is difficult to correct it. Large deformation also occurs during the processing after heat treatment, resulting in a large number of product repairs and many workpieces scrapped. In order to ensure the performance of its mechanism and facilitate users to perform secondary processing, usually only threaded parts are quenched and heat treated, while other parts can still be machined.

Characteristics of screw rod

Screw usually refers to the ball screw. The ball screw is an ideal product for converting rotary motion into linear motion, or converting linear motion into rotary motion. Screw is the most commonly used transmission element in tool machinery and precision machinery. Its main function is to convert rotary motion into linear motion, or to convert torque into axial repetitive force. It also has the characteristics of high precision, reversibility and high efficiency. Because the friction resistance of the ball screw is small, it is widely used in various industrial equipment and precision instruments.

Structural Design and Classification of Stainless Steel Shaft

The stainless steel shaft is a cylindrical object that passes through the middle of the bearing, the middle of the wheel or the middle of the gear, but a small part is square. Stainless steel shafts are mechanical parts that support rotating parts and rotate together to transmit motion, torque or bending moment. It is generally in the shape of a metal round bar, and each section may have a different diameter. The rotating parts of the machine are mounted on shafts.

Plunger: Plunger pump safety operation procedures

Three and recommend plunger pump safety operation procedures: 1. Check the oil tank of the reducer, the oil level of the three plunger high-pressure pump and the water level of the emulsion tank are on the specified oil level and water level. 2. Check whether the safety valve, pressure gauge, water level gauge and liquid level indicator are sensitive and correct; check the pressure gauge and safety valve once a year, and drain the safety valve regularly to prevent the valve core from sticking and blocking the valve hole.
