Abrasion resistance

Abrasion resistance

As a material with high wear resistance, carbon steel and alloy steel can be used for the iron type.
Materials with high wear resistance include ceramics and cemented carbides.
Please consider the balance between wear resistance and impact resistance to choose materials.

Abrasion resistance and impact resistance

※ in stainless steel, SUS 440C has excellent wear resistance, but the material is expensive.
SUS440C please try the low-priced material KWS 4MA, which has the same hardness and excellent sliding properties.
The above figure is an image of impact resistance and abrasion resistance.
